….upload a picture or document to my page?
Ø Before you upload to the Wikispace, you MUST save the picture or document in a specific way so we know it is yours.
Ø Save the image or document in your documents folder, titling it in this way: your first initial, last name, dash, one or two words to describe it. For example, if I have a picture of Poseidon, I would save it as this: sglunt-Poseidon.
Ø On your Wikispace page, click on “Edit” so you are on a working document.
Ø Set your cursor exactly where you want your picture/document to go. (The cursor is the little mark that will be flashing on the working document page.)
Ø On the toolbar, select “File” which brings up a box called “Images and Files”.
Ø On the right side of the box, select “+Upload files”.
Ø Find the folder with your picture or document and push “Select”.
Ø Wait a few moments, and your picture/document should appear in the large white box on the left side of the screen.
Ø Click on your picture/document, and this will place it back on your page where your cursor was.
Ø Push “Save” to go back to regular view.

….adjust a picture or widget on my page?
Ø On your page, click on “Edit” so you are on a working document.
Ø Click once on your image or widget box.
Ø Another dialogue box pops up.
Ø Use the ALIGNMENT drop down menu to place the image on the left, center, or right side of page.
Ø Use the + and – to adjust the SIZE of your image or widget.
Ø For pictures, don’t forget captions!!! Use the long open rectangle to tell us about the picture.
Ø When finished with your adjustments, click “CLOSE”.
Ø Push “Save” to go back to regular view. You will only see captions after you save the page.

General Guidelines
Ø Remember that more isn’t always best. Too many different text colors and fonts are distracting. Choose colors and styles that look nice together.
Ø Sometimes, your Wikispace will just have a bad day. It may not center when it’s told to or change font styles on you when you’re changing a color. Don’t fret. It happens to everyone.
Ø Keep it neat and check your spelling. It’s always a great idea to type everything on a word document first so you can do spell check. Then copy it to your Wikispace page
